  • How to clean my stained glass piece?
The best practice is a little bit of dawn dish soap, baking soda and water! It seems odd that windex or glass cleaner wouldn't be used, but the vinegar in the windex oxidizes the solder and will weaken the piece over time.
  • How do I hang my stained glass piece?
I suggest commercial grade window clings,, or using a small nail and using fishing line to hang where you want your stained glass is also a very safe bet. I can not take any liability for drops, breakages or likewise after the stained glass leaves my hands.

  • How long have you been photographing?
I first began photographing in 2006 at the age of 13. I didn't quite know the ins and outs of the camera at the time, but it certainly never left my hand. Starting off small I did photoshoots for friends and family and when this small hobby began to grow, I decided it was time to go to school. 2012 I attended Lansing Community College and received an AAS in photographic imaging technology. Not long after, turning around and diving into making photography my full time job and lifelong passion..
  • Do you deliver every image you take?
While you will get the majority of the images I do not deliver each image taken. I filter through duplicates and out of focus images. Many of my photos have laughter, talking and motion in them so I typically take a lot of images in order to get the best one. Since there are so many, I am highly trained at being able to pick out the most natural, and flattering facial expressions of you and your family. If you are interested in receiving every single raw image an additional $350 will be added to your photo session price.
  • How long will it take for us to receive our images?
Depending on photoshoot length and subjects being photographed, turn around time typically takes 2 weeks. Weddings and large event turn around times typically take 2-3 months.
  • Do you have liability insurance?
    Yes!
  • What should I wear?
-Most important rule. Wear what you are most confident and comfortable in. This can change a photoshoot completely. If you are uncomfortable it will show -Layer up and bring your accessories! Jackets, hats, bags, glasses, jewelery, sweaters or props! The more you layer with the more opportunity for posing -Short skirts, shorts and dresses will really limit opportunity for poses. Fingertip length or longer is suggested -Graphic tops- Use at your discretion, a graphic tee underneath a cardigan or a jacket can really add to your look, but some graphic designs can distract the viewer's eye to what's most important in the photo (you!) -Trying to coordinate colors with your family? Not everyone needs to wear the same color, so long as they are complementary. Click the link below for a few complementary color ideas.
  • What if I don't feel comfortable in front of the camera?
Don't worry, I'm not very comfortable in front of the camera either. I know how it feels like to not know what my smile looks like, how my hair is laying or if I should have my hand up here, or down *here*. That is why I will give you prompts, sayings, interactions or games in order to get you moving and feeling at ease in front of the camera. The magic is all in the details, so don't worry about a thing, I will fix your hair, let you know if your shirt isn't laying right. I treat my clients as if they were my best friends, I take pride in helping you look your best.

In order to reserve a date a down payment must be made in the amount of 30% of your photoshoot total. Cancelations result in a loss of your down payment, but rescheduling will carry over any payments made. The remainder of your payment must be made the day of your wedding. No images will be shown or given until the payment is made in full.
  • How many times will we get to meet?
We will have our initial meeting to go over your wedding day, get to know one another, and answer any questions either of us may have. I will give a phone call up to 2 weeks before the big day to go over your schedule, and any questions either may have. The week of your wedding I will text you just to double check that there haven't been any last minute changes, but I encourage couples to get a hold of me at any time they have questions.
